Five Questions with ELEQUA

We sat down with Thunayan Al-Ghanim (better known as "Elequa," one of the largest portfolio owners of 3 letter domains, to get his take on 3 Character domains.

3Character.com: How many three letter domains do you presently own?
Elequa: Currently I have over 10,000 3 Letter names.

3Character.com: Where do you see the market as far as values going in the 3 letter space?
Elequa: I see the value of 3 letter names continuing to go up. I feel they are one of the best values in the
domain industry, both because of their rare nature and their many uses.

3Character.com: You own a lot of 3 letter .tv domains. .tv is not a favorite of domainers because of their premium pricing, Why have you invested here?
Elequa: I am a big fan of .tv as I see a far greater use of .tv in my travels, if the .tv registry
ever changed its pricing I would do a buyout of all 3 letter .tv like I did with .info and .biz.

3Character.com: What are your thoughts on 3 character names combining letters and numbers?
Elequa: I am not a fan. If it has a meaning like H2o sure but those are rare. I own very few.

3Character.com: What are your thoughts on 3 letter domains in country code extensions?
Elequa: I would focus on .de and .co.uk If I had to pick. I know many will ask what about the .us
ext? I view .us as a restricted ext and currently own no 3 letter .us names.

3Character.com: Thank you for your time Thunayan, and everyone out there feel free to check out
